On June 23rd, Choi Moon-soon, Governor of Gangwon Province was invited to the 8th Yujae Special Lecture. Choi Moon-soon served as the president of MBC (Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation) and a member of the National Assembly and served as the governor of Gangwon Province from 2011 to the present. He also led the 2017 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics into a peace Olympics in which North and South Korea are together.

In this lecture, Choi Moon-soon introduced the Constitution of the Weimar and presented the value and philosophy of devotion that goes beyond democracy. Emphasizing that human dignity is inviolable, and it is the duty of all state powers to respect and protect it, he said that the welfare state should aim at 'One-person' with a philosophy based on human dignity. Finally, climate change, resolving the gap between the rich and the poor, low fertility and aging, decentralization, and inter-Korean conflicts were presented as five tasks for the 7th Republic, suggesting the direction of peace on the Korean Peninsula.
